Sylvester "CutZoo" Ogletree was born in Atlanta, GA to a musical family - The Ogletree Brothers. Coming from a line of multi-instrumentalists and singers, "Cut" caught the music bug early. Learning to read music and play piano first, it was the drums that really took a hold of him. After playing drums all throughout high school, Cut went on to graduate from the Florida State University with a B.A. in music. The whole time, he played drums for local artist in the city.
Since graduating, Cut has performed on stages across the world. In 2012, Cut had the opportunity to perform at the Essence Festival in New Orleans with Timeless Brands. In 2013, he spent 6 months in Beijing, China performing for the city and local clubs with Jafar Curry and Purple Alert Band. Jafar loved his work so much, he hired him again to spend 7 months in Male', Maldives to perform at Kuramathi Resort.
In 2015, Karlous Miller began filming a podcast, The 85 South Show. When they started doing live shows, they tapped Cut to be the official tour drummer. Touring the United States with the 85 South Show was definitely a highlight for him. Once the Covid 19 pandemic hit in 2020, touring stopped and The Eighty Vybe Show was born. Popular and influential music artists would perform with BNDO, the 85 South Show band, and then interview with the cast of the 85 South Show. Cut had the opportunity to perform with Curren$y, Young Dro, Trinidad James, DC Young Fly, Akeen Ali, and others.
While still holding down the drum throne for BNDO and the 85 South Show, Cut started his own project, We The Party Band. A wedding/corporate event band that performs popular hits from today and the past. We the Party band can be seen in local clubs and bars around the city of Atlanta, GA.
CutZoo lives in the metro Atlanta area with his wife and two kids.
